Assistant Engineer, Supplier Quality

**Purpose of this role**:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Support on-site audits for qualification of new and existing suppliers to ensure supplier’s QMS is meeting ISO standards and where applicable, FDA QSR (GMP).
Work together with SQE Engineers and Global Sourcing team to ensure completeness of supplier record files according to Global Purchasing Controls and Supplier Management Process procedure.
Review and check Outgoing Inspection Report from suppliers.
Support preliminary investigation, rescreen activity on failed parts and send report to suppliers.
Support supplier data (NCMR weekly report, DPPM trend, SCAR monitoring, supplier scorecard, supplier re-evaluation index) compilation for analytical use.
Request Return Material Authorization (RMA) from suppliers and track return status for critical suppliers.
Continual improvement actions with suppliers to drive quality (e.g. clarification of specification, additional quality requirements, improved specifications) with supervision.
Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
Any other duties assigned by superior.

Why you?

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Diploma in Engineering or similar field with 3 years experience in quality assurance / supplier quality.
Degree in Engineering or similar field with at least 1 year experience in quality assurance / supplier quality in a manufacturing environment or regulated industry such as medical devices manufacturing is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**If you have the following experiences, it would be a plus**:
Knowledge in 6 sigma, CPK and SPC will be an added advantage.
