The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible to manage all Strategic Sourcing tasks related to Pall’s product and services requirements for Pall Singapore. Including, but not limited to significant interaction with R&D, Engineering and Operational functions to provide Global Sourcing, Outsourcing, Insourcing and overall Sub-Contract Management in line with corporate strategy.

This position is part of the Strategic Sourcing Group and will be located in Tuas, Singapore

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Building and fostering critical site relationships with plant leadership, materials management team, quality team, engineering team, finance team, and others; including participating in design reviews with R&D and suppliers on manufacturability & raw material selection in order to achieve the most optimal component/service cost.

Interface with the local materials management team to establish local manufacturing inputs and requirements to ensure alignment with global functional strategy and continuity of supply

Continuous evaluation of local supply base for rationalization opportunities

Generation and execution of cost savings project funnel

Define and drive sourcing opportunities within LCR markets through the utilization of, and interface with IPO (International Procurement Office) resources; utilize in-depth TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis and mentality when making supply awards

Design and lead contract negotiations

Ensure policies and procedures regarding compliance, commitments, early involvement, supplier selection, supplier evaluation, and supplier development related to the site and global categories are understood and implemented.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Metallurgy, or applicable

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of procurement/category management experience

Ambitious, Self-Starting Team Player

Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction with a proven ability to influence/communicate at all levels; establish good relationships, drive change across functional and global boundaries

Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and build cross-cultural teams

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Multilingual ability (both written and oral) is an advantage. Japanese would be preferred as the role required constant liaison with our Japan counterpart

Ability to understand and formulate the business requirements for a commercial trade contract

Previously handled chemical-related products
