To develop, implement and measure communication plans and activities that deliver on business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the team’s communications and marketing strategies to deliver on business strategy and objectives
- Drive and develop engaging and relevant internal communications for QBE across Asia working with the Head of Communications & Marketing
- Develop, maintain and promote QBE’s brand to existing and potential employees through executive messaging, employee communication, company townhalls, award recognitions, storytelling and recruitment roadshows
- Keep abreast of current trends on effective communications tools and strategies
- Develop and promote thought leadership contents to engage with our customers
- Develop, maintain and upkeep marketing materials
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Asia Executive Committee members, HR and department leads
- Track and measure the effectiveness of communications to build awareness and engagement

Preferred Competencies/Skills
- Exceptional communications and writing skills with a natural ability to move between audiences and channels and make the complex simple and compelling
- Bilingual in spoken and written English and Chinese language
- Excellent knowledge of communications and marketing channels
- Proven and demonstrable communications and marketing skills
- Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Event management (virtual and face-to-face) capability
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to get things done and make things happen

Preferred Education Specifics
- Relevant industry/tertiary qualifications

Preferred Experience
- 8+ years’ experience in strategic internal communications and marketing management

Preferred Knowledge
- Knowledge of the general insurance industry (desirable)
