Our client is a global leader in the innovative development of medical devices is looking to hire a junior project portfolio management executive. This role will be based in Singapore; their Regional hub.

The primary purpose of the IT Portfolio Management Specialist is to support the Head of IT to establishing optimal processes for planning, implementation, reporting, finance and risk management. They also support the implementation and monitoring of IT governance methods and standards as well as the cost structure analysis and cost optimization measures.

Key Accountabilities include:

- Coordinate the portfolio prioritization and decision-making process on projects in collaboration with IT Management, Country Management, and Business Stakeholders
- Advise on portfolio scenarios and makes recommendations to the executive board.
- Track and reports the status/progress of the overall portfolio (programs & projects).
- Help identify and manage cross-project and cross-functional issues, interdependencies, and risks and facilitate risk mitigation
- Support IT demand management and continuous process improvement
- Develop and provide training programs for upcoming or existing project/program managers, product managers, Scrum Masters, and other key management roles related to delivery methodology in alignment with the global IT team
- Play a leading role in developing and establishing a delivery methodology for planning and implementing projects and products for the global organization.
- Help to prepare, execute, and follow up on Project Portfolio Governance meetings.

**Key Skills / Core Competencies**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
- Fast learner, positive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Self-driven and adaptable with a drive to learn
- Strong problem solving / analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional and collaborative team environment

**Formal Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- ITIL, PMP or comparable certifications would be an asset

**Experience**
- Around 2 years of relevant experience in IT Portfolio Management
- Expertise in budget planning and financial management
- Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management across the IT organization.
