The SAP Business Application Analyst is the primary contact in REC IT for SAP S/4HANA functional areas. This person is responsible to provide solutions for business needs & support the day-to-day operations. This person needs to work closely with the respective Functional Leads to align proposed solutions before execution.

A successful IT BA Analyst must have at least 2 years SAP experience in implementation project or support role or in an end user environment.

Business Analysis & Support
- Ensure day-to-day activities, projects / change requests are done in compliance with REC IT Control Policies & Procedures.
- Assist the Functional Leads to liaise with key users and Business Process Owners (BPO) to identify pain points and problem areas that require IT solution, then capture specific requirements, propose cost effective solution and implement.
- Prepare and maintain up to date business process flows, configuration documents, technical / functional specifications, test scenario / case creation, conduct user acceptance testing & roll-out solutions.
- Establish relationships with end users from different departments and other IT members.

Problem Solving
- Understands that any given problem may have many good answers, therefore must know how to ask good questions that compel further discussion, research, collaboration and innovation.
- Is attentive to details and has good analytical skills to understand a wide net of interdependencies to be able to identify, clearly articulate, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Empathise with end users in their needs while also able to manage and align business requirements and IT goals.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business related with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is an advantage.
- Experience specific to S/4HANA environment and FICO area is advantageous.
- Well-developed understanding and working experience on one of the SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), WM (Warehouse Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution).
- General knowledge in business processes associated with the use of SAP and comfortable with manufacturing business terms and concepts.
- Experience in Windows Environment, Visio, Power Bi, and other document management tools.
- Integration experience with other legacy or 3rd party systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to present in small to medium group settings.
- Experience in operating an ERP System with integration to an MES System in a 24x7x365 manufacturing environment an advantage.
- Preferably at least one full cycle project implementation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in SAP LSMW, ABAP Query, ALV Reports and iDocs an advantage.

Working Location : Tuas (we provide 2-way transport to many mrt stations). Hybrid (2 days wfh, 3 days at Tuas)
