XCL World Academy is looking to recruit an **Infrastructure & Systems Lead.**

The successful incumbent will maintain and manage the school’s network hardware and critical directory systems. Ensure our information technology assets remain secure by implementing security procedures, software and protocols across multiple platforms. The individual will need to collaborate closely with the school’s ICT Support engineers and network consultants to administer, optimise, develop and troubleshoot our enterprise technology and critical directory systems, e.g., O365 & Google Workspace, Apple School Manager, and JAMF.

This position requires the network and system documentation to be up-to-date, data is regularly analysed, and KPIs get reported. The individual plays a key and dynamic role in the ICT Team, building relationships to communicate, collaborate, create, organise and promote ICT solutions.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the health, integrity and security of our network equipment and servers.
- Work closely with the ICT team to ensure systems perform optimally.
- Provide coaching and guidance on troubleshooting as needed for the team.
- Resolve all escalated issues and challenges timely.
- Assist with the ICT Team duty schedule and provide cover as needed.
- Promote a culture of safe, responsible and legal use of technology.
- Proactively works to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Maintain appropriate documentation on network maps, procedures and configurations.
- Recommends new processes or improvements in existing processes and workflows.
- Owns the change management and configuration process for the ICT Team.
- Maintains the school’s PBX and telecommunication systems.
- Assist the Director of Technology & Innovation with technology reviews, team evaluation and budgeting.
- Coordinate and administer required training to technology team members and the school’s faculty and staff as and when required.
- Occasionally responsible for periodic as well as ad-hoc tasks and projects to support the needs of school that are linked to infrastructure and systems.
- Perform other tasks requested by the supervisor that are relevant to the role and scope of work.

**Person Specifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position in an international school setting.
- Flexible problem solver open to new technologies who can work independently, as part of a team, and under time constraints in a dynamic environment.
- Positive and growth mindset with excellent customer service skills.
- Relevant experience in providing IT Support.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of MacOS and iOS.
- Experience in Google Workspace Applications preferred.
- Mobile device management experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and cope with a degree of pressure at peak times.
