We are looking for a Research Fellow to contribute to a new research project on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for mental health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct research on AI-mediated communication in emotional and mental health contexts.- Design, develop, and evaluate interactive systems or interventions that promote positive socio-emotional outcomes.- Publish and present research in top-tier HCI and communication journals and conferences, and contribute to open resources or toolkits for academic and public audiences.- Mentor and collaborate with students and interdisciplinary team members, and build partnerships with external stakeholders such as community organisations or industry.- Support lab development, including organising research activities, managing projects, and contributing to grant proposals.

Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (completed or near completion) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Communication, Computer Science, Information Science, Psychology, or a related field.- Proven track record with publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings in Communication and HCI.- Proficiency in quantitative/statistical analysis and computational techniques (e.g., NLP, data mining).- Experience conducting mixed-method research.- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
