User Experience Centre (UXC) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary-teamed consultancy centre within Singapore Polytechnic (SP) dedicated to driving innovation through humanity-centred design and diverse collaboration opportunities for industry partners through consultancy projects and training programmes.

Reporting to the Centre Director, the appointee will be part of the team from Singapore Polytechnic’s User Experience Centre. He/she will be able to lead and provide domain expertise in Design Thinking, User Experience Design and/or, to lead with respect to industry domain area in building and developing strategic engagements and partnerships with industry partners and lead consultancy project(s) with focus on physical and/or digital products and services; to mentor & train junior staff in area of specialisation and be proficient and competent in the design and/or creative domains.

**What you will be working on**

- Lead and coordinate with local and regional partners to bring in consultancy, project work, training workshop, continuing education training in short courses and programmes, business development and internationalization work with regional partners in ASEAN.
- Lead and develop strategies with the team to grow Singapore Polytechnic as a thought leader in Design Thinking/Humanity-Centered Innovation regionally and in areas of Continuing Education. Able to plan for the team’s future needs and operations.
- Lead and coordinate with other centres/schools in business development efforts to bring in leads for inter-centre consultancy and project work.
- Responsible and accountable in project continuity and transformation beyond their initial scopes and identify additional opportunities within the client’s organization for strategic long-term partnership and collaboration with SP.

**What we are looking for**

**_ Requirements:

- _**
- 4 - 8 years of work experience preferably in similar fields inclusive of the design and/or creative domains.
- Positive, dynamic individual with ability to lead and/or oversee multiple project teams to achieve the highest level of performance without compromising timelines and team harmony.
- Proficiency with user research, user interviews methodologies, design, design thinking and prototyping tools and methods
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to guide high performing teams using persuasion and influence (rather than command and control)
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong eye for details and above all has a burning curiosity to learn and understand and make sense of data.
- Highly adaptable, professional and resourceful
- Responsible, meticulous and highly organised individual with the ability to be responsible for multiple activities and doing diverse projects and thrive under pressure
- Team player with the ability to work well collaboratively and independently
