**Responsibilities**:

- Design, deploy, and manage Linux and Windows server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.
- Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and capacity.
- Ensure proper backup and recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including patch management, access controls, and system hardening, to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge base.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019, and familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience with Linux operating systems in a production environment.
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, VMware and Hyper-V, and proficiency in managing virtualized server environments.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMB and etc.) and experience troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Knowledge of server hardware, RAID configurations, and storage technologies.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions, including backup software and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
