Singapore Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Full time

This is a regional cash product development and management role with the following responsibilities:

- Manage, commercialize and roll out of regional and domestic Liquidity Management products (e.g. physical sweeping, notional pooling and interest optimization) in all Asia Pacific countries.
- Support the implementation of enhanced cut-off time with straight through processing for premium customers, for payments across SMBC network.
- Identify, develop and commercialize new and innovative e-payment/collection capabilities and solutions to drive transaction banking business across Asia Pacific.
- Be domain expert handling all aspects of product planning including product approval, product design, process planning, legal documentation, and providing RFP, pre-sales and post-sales support to Sales teams.

This role will involve close cooperation with Head Office as well as product counterparts in each SMBC Branch/subsidiary in Asia Pacific region.

Requirements:

- University graduate with degree related to IT/Computer Science or Business or equivalent
- About 7 - 10 years of experience in cash management or transactional banking
- Well versed in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, etc.
- Take the lead in resolving issues across departments
- Proactive, team oriented, positive, responsible, good interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in the area of liquidty management and digital payment and collection solutions in Asia Pacific countries, including fintech-related solutions, will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of cash management products and solutions in Asia Pacific will be advantageous
