Overview:

- Kemin AquaScienceTM is part of the global research teams of Kemin across the World. The researchers are expected to work closely with colleagues from research, marketing, technical and other functions in SE Asia and other locations.
- Product & Process Development for aquaculture by following the Product Innovation Process (PIP)
- Collaboration with researchers in academic institutions and close interaction with customers will be part of the work
- Publication of scientific and technical articles in Kemin database
- Participate in customer trials and analysis and develop data to support the sales and technical teams

**Responsibilities**:
Specific
- Coordinate with the research teams within Kemin AquaScienceTM across locations on projects
- Develop experimental protocols, methods of analysis and standard operating procedures (SOP) for aquaculture-related topics
- Perform routine test including chemistry and biochemical assays, microbiological works in BSC etc. in accordance with the SOPs for customers’ requests and projects, interpret experimental data and deliver the analytical reports on time.
- Undertake to troubleshoot problems relating to the experiments and lab equipment
- Work along with the sales and technical team on customer trials, trainings and product promotion activities
- Prepare PIP and R&D updates, and publish internal publications, source documents and review papers on a timely basis
- Studies in coordination with regulatory, quality and production teams on new product development, scale-up and registration process
- Carry out literature search and identify appropriate methods and approaches for research
- Maintain and operate the lab equipment effectively and handle the lab equipment's troubleshooting and basic repair independently such as HPLC, GC-MS, GC-FID
- Execution of general laboratory activities: managing lab inventory, sample management and waste disposal, housekeeping, and other assigned duties

General
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all research activities in laboratory note books and other forms as required.
- Protect all confidential information such as formulations, trade secrets and other commercially sensitive information.
- Carry out research activities with high scientific and personal integrity on the foundation of good scientific and laboratory practices.
- Conduct all research activities with strict adherence to the health and safety policies of the company.

Qualifications:
Academic:
Master’s Degree with specialization in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with minimum 1 year of laboratory research experience.
