**Responsibilities**:

- Under broad direction, drafts, maintains, and improves documentation associated with new/existing tools, scientific software products and/or new releases to ensure their usability
- Develop understanding of tool assembly/operation, to provide recommendations for improvement, such as Design Mechanical fixturing and tooling for process/quality improvement.
- Interacts with other groups: vendors, R&D and customer etc, support to ensure essential content is captured and kept up to date (e.g., at time of new release, product fix, or as needed to address customer feedback or insights)
- Assists and participates in testing and test results analysis for assigned projects, field-testing support.
- Technical disposition for vendor and quality queries, design change implementation
- Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.
- Comply with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and create mechanical designs
- Proficiency in using Solidworks modelling 3D CAD design software is a plus.
- Knowledge on GD&T for engineering drawings will advantageous
- Experience in manufacturing/process engineering will be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Work effectively as a team member by communicating clearly and efficiently to provide innovative solutions.
