Our client is an established medical technology Company that uses state of the art technology to create new innovative breakthroughs in the orthopedic industry. Their aim is to create life changing medical devices for everyone and they are looking for a Vice President of ASEAN to join them in this mission. Reporting to the CEO/COO, you are responsible for all engineering, business development, sales, marketing, and customer service functions for the company in the ASEAN Region. You will develop the go-to market plan and execute that plan to advance the company's mission and objectives. Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, you will develop customer relationships and maximize the business impact of potential investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and other transactions with third parties. You will oversee company's sales operations to ensure quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. **Responsibilities**: - General Management: Responsible for all business functions in ASEAN region. - Research and Development: Manages current product offerings and develops new products. Develop and maintain product line and expertise including new market opportunities. - Channel Management: Determines the go-to-market channel strategy and deployment including the sales force, distribution, and contract representatives. Establishes the sales territory for the company. - Marketing Communications: Determines the marketing communications plan and activities including but not limited to tradeshows, press releases, websites, advertising, etc. - Customer Relationship Management: Develops and maintains the customer relationship process and executive relationships with customers. - Pricing Management Process: Develops and manages the company's price strategy and plan. - Planning: Participate in the development of the strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. - Market Research: Manage development and maintenance of complex market models for potential partnership, investment, and acquisition opportunities. - Project Management and Reporting: Provides detailed meeting reports to key parties (including key insights, next steps, etc.) and coordinate next steps internally as appropriate for key project and sales goals. - Sales Team Management: Oversee company sales operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Evaluate performance of sales team for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related field - Have built and led multi-functional teams. - The vision to build and execute on a plan. - Ten or more years of leadership in Orthopedic and/or Spine medical device engineering, research, sales, marketing, or field engineering experience with account management experience and knowledge of the orthopedic/spine medical device market preferred. - Proven sales leader with experience in driving revenue and growth in the medical device industry. - Experience working in both large structured and small entrepreneurial medical device organizations. - Capable of working effectively in both environments and possess the flexibility in reacting to new situations and adaptability for working in a new environment. - Experience and general knowledge of the medical device community and the ability to recognize unmet needs in the medical device field and to bring those needs into business opportunities for the company. - Experience in strategic planning and execution - Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management - Skill in examining and re-engineering medical device sales operations and procedures - Knowledge of public relations principles and practices - Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques - Ability to develop and deliver presentations - Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with all departments - Ability to motivate sales teams and simultaneously manage several projects - Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA QSR - Comfortable with the FDA and international regulatory processes - Proven presence which commands the respect and trust of customers, vendors, sales reps and employees at all levels in the organization - Self-starter; a "hands-on" individual who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with mínimal support and direction - Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel, and may require frequent weekend and evening work as well as require frequent overnight travel EA License No.: 11C3242 Reg No.: R1103318
