Aspire is excited to be partnering with a global B2B media business focused on the hospitality and travel sectors. The Singapore team are currently looking for an Event director to oversee the success and strategy of a newly launched APAC exhibition including oversight of Operations, Marketing and Sales.

**THE ROLE**

As Event Director, you will support the development and strategy behind the exhibition plans
- Supporting and working closely with the Marketing, Operations and Sales teams
- Collaborating with the Managing Director and leadership on forecasting, budgets and growth expectations
- Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of events
- Keeping on top of industry trends
- Working with global teams in UK, US and Singapore to ensure global alignment for events
- Contributing to a great work environment which attracts and retains high quality staff

**ALL ABOUT YOU**
- At least 10 years of experience with 5+ years of experience in a strategic leadership role within events
- Overall events experience touching on elements of management, operations, planning and sales
- Exposure to exhibitions/shows is preferable within the travel industry if possible but not essential
- Experience leading high performing teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and sales skills
- Adaptable and creative with the ability to problem solve
- Highly organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines through excellent time management skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
