We are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager - Development. In this role, you'll report directly to the Construction Commercial Director and work closely with the Development team. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to support delivery teams in navigating commercial and contractual matters throughout the lifecycle of our data center developments. You will also negotiate complex contracts at both domestic and international levels, overseeing the development and management of all contractual documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with management to devise procurement and contract strategies for existing and prospective regions.
- Leading contract, cost, and claims management across all Development projects, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing project matters.
- Resolving contract interpretation issues and disputes creatively, balancing the interests of all parties and considering the long-term implications of proposed solutions.
- Establishing and overseeing streamlined processes, procedures, and metrics to quantify performance across projects.
- Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing time and cost efficiencies in data center delivery.
- Developing sophisticated business cases and analyses for management review.
- Preparing and reviewing tender packages, including scope of works, bid templates, evaluations, and recommendations.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, including new data center constructions and capital improvement projects for existing facilities.
- Traveling to domestic and international data center sites for project initiation, reviews, audits, constructability assessments, commissioning, and project closeout, as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- Relevant degree or equivalent in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong grasp of contract management and administration, with a solid understanding of contract law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, contract drafting, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve high-quality outcomes.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent English communication skills with a keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Five years of experience in a commercial leadership role.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with fast-track design/build projects.
- International experience, ideally in the APAC region, with significant exposure to contracts exceeding SGD$150m.
