**COTS Engineer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Business Analysts (BA) in the elaboration of user stories.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to develop test automation scripts and address bug fixes.
- Support DevOps in the automation of build and release processes.
- Enhance software quality by employing XP (Extreme Programming) practices such as code review and unit testing.
- Adhere to the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto.
- Prepare architectural and other technical documents.

**Experience and Skills Needed**:

- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Experience with Continuous Integration.
- Experience in working with agile teams, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair programming, and Scrum.
- Proficiency with both Windows and UNIX/Linux servers.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns.
- Familiarity with Unit Testing.
- Strong presentation and listening skills.
- Working experience in Agile and UX development environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency with business process modeling techniques and BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) is a plus.
- Hands-on configuration experience in administering and managing COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) products and features, including but not limited to rules engine, workflow, process logic, data validations, screen flows, and page layouts with products like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Sharepoint Online, Dynamics 365, etc., is advantageous.
- Experience with designing custom objects, fields, functions, layouts, processes, or validation rules is an asset.
