Assistant Vice President, Credit Risk Management

ARMO is a regional office covering Asia Pacific (APAC) region. ARMO-CRED supports the Regional Chief Risk Officer and senior managements in the region to continuously enhance credit risk management function, framework and initiatives to support the development of APAC businesses. Analysis and Reporting team’s key responsibilities include conducting portfolio analysis and reporting for APAC’s senior managements, holding credit risk management committee, support/maintain/enhance credit risk management framework for the region and APAC branches.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support credit risk management committee and manage regular/ad-hoc reporting for the APAC region with in-depth credit portfolio and forward-looking analysis.
- Identify and highlight key credit risk issues to senior managements, to support business planning and risk management needs in the APAC region.
- Maintain and continuously enhance the portfolio analytics technics and tools and credit risk metrics such as RWA, Expected Loss and Return on Risk.
- Support the model and methodologies developments for credit analytics tools such as Stress Testing, Portfolio Projection, Early Warning, Credit Risk Appetite Framework and Credit Risk Heat Map.
- Manage and continuously enhance the end-to-end Early Warning framework processes for daily/monthly EW at country, industry and borrower level.
- Collaborate with relevant departments/divisions on various Global and Regional initiatives.
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 4 years of experience in portfolio risk or credit risk management/reporting, in the banking or finance industry.
- Proficient in Advanced excel. Knowledge of Excel VBA/SQL/SAS is a plus.
- Strong knowledge in Risk specifically credit risk analytics and metrics.
- Preferably to have prior experience in either quantitative analysis or risk/data modelling (in areas such as forward-looking risk management frameworks, stress testing frameworks etc).
- Good communication and presentation skills, with strong analytical skills to interpret large and complex data sets and ability to identify key trends and issues.
- Good knowledge of Financial Products and Banking Operations.
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong team player and independent contributor.
