**Details of the Division and Team**:
Within the International Private Bank (IPB) the CIO Division is responsible for the financial market view. Within the CIO Division, the Equity Specialist team provides recommendations on single stocks as well as equity portfolios covering all regions and sectors. In order to fulfill the task, the equity team works closely together with internal colleagues particularly with equity strategists, external brokers, and corporate access. This role will report into the Deputy Global CIO.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Leading and further developing of the equity research
- Identification of long term trends and themes particularly with respect to the local market
- Analysing and commenting on company news, earnings, valuations etc.
- Recommendations on a single stock basis as well as development of equity model portfolios
- Communication and explanatory notes to internal advisors and external clients
- In-depth understanding of varying client demands and regional needs
- Input into the selection process over all regions and sectors.
- Operational excellence and strict adherence to all control function requirements

**Your skills and experience**:

- At least 5 years of equity research and equity investments experience. Individuals must have some Corporate Finance and macro and micro Economics experience.
- A Degree in Economics with additional qualifications like CFA
- Individuals must have relevant research experience of at least 5 years in Investment Banking, Wealth Management or Private Banking or Asset Management.
- Individuals with at least 5 years of relevant experience will be considered at AVP level, 8 years of relevant experience at VP level and more than 15 years of relevant experience at Director level.
- Strong interest in all economic topics with specific know-how in business sectors (e.g. consumer, oil & gas, technology and thematic investing, ESG, diversity, cyber security and robotics)
- Keen interest in analytical work as well as strategic creativity
- Strong communication skills and good team player
- Knowledge in relevant IT and data systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv,... Microsoft Office)
- Fluent in spoken and written English

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirement applies.
