**Summary**
The Account Manager (Online Travel Agencies) - SEA is responsible for the development and maintenance of assigned Online accounts, ensuring that Travelport has excellent day to day customer relationships, in addition to identifying and managing opportunities/projects to increase revenue, volume and SOW growth within the customer portfolio. This position is required to manage the commercial negotiation and develop strategic account growth plan with customers.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for commercial negotiation and develop strategic account growth plan with customers; Maximize the sales opportunities re revenue, volume, and SOW within the customer portfolio
- Act as primary account owner and point-of-contact for both internal and external customers
- Have direct customer communications & relationship together with SME in assigned accounts
- Capable to conduct professional business & solutioning consultancy in respect to Online travel business to assigned customers
- Responsible for mapping customer requirements to Travelport’s products and services to grow the business
- Conduct proactive customer business analysis by understanding the complexities associated, evaluation of opportunities & challenges and formulate solutions/plan with other functional teams to support strategic accounts.
- Develop strategies and orchestrate company resources to maximize sales volume and profit goals whilst building and maintaining an appropriate business plan
- Share business insights & best practices in online travel industry with customers to accelerate their wins and growth
- Work with the team to participate and manage customer business reviews
- Demonstrates collaboration with product and technology teams; and co-work with operational teams (legal, finance, marketing, helpdesk )
- Demonstrate the ability to cope with unplanned workload and be flexible enough to deal with last minute priorities. Any other duties as may be reasonably required
- Attend and present at Travelport, industry and customer events when appropriate
- Compliance of the team to complete all required training by due date
- The role involves travel to cover the portfolio of customers.
- The role requires flexibility with work hours to cover regional time zones and where required global/regional projects.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education**:

- **Experience in Online business, ecommerce or service/project delivery in travel related industry is required. Preferably with GDS functionality knowledge**:

- Proven ability to take ownership of accounts and pro-actively drive customer relationships & strategic outcomes
- Possesses a clear ability to translate business drivers at the strategic and commercial level
- Proven track record of achievement against company targets and personal objectives
- Possess strong business consultancy & solutions selling abilities and customer engagement skills
- Produce solid business plan and lead the internal stakeholders to deliver with the customers
- Experience with OTA Internet booking engine (IBE) system, ecommerce platform or API development projects (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Champions new initiatives and creates an environment that supports new sales ideas
- An extensive and intimate knowledge of online and ecommerce industries
- Understanding of, and compliance with, legal terms and conditions
- Self-confident and self-aware with presence and credibility
- Team player, motivated and willing to travel

**Key Measures **_(e.g., financial scope, budget, and staff management responsibilities) _**:

- Profitable revenue growth: overall segment increase, overall revenue increase
- Customer engagement & satisfaction (NPS)
- Increased adoption of products and solutions services
- Pipeline in Contract renewal and New Business
- Expand knowledge base of both products and services as well as sales methodologies

**Working Relationship **_(e.g., external customers, suppliers; internal customers, staff managed) _**:
The prime working relations.
- Work comfortably at all levels in assigned customer accounts, esp. with Customer success managers
- Collaborate with colleagues at all levels across Travelport to contribute to growth and profitability of Travelport as well as get assistance where appropriate in creating potential solutions
- Works independently, without close supervision
- Interacts with all levels of management negotiating and influencing to build consensus
