CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.

CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

Key Responsibilities

To strictly follow all Company procedures, guidelines and mandatory regulations.
Ensure efficiency of crewing functions such as timely crew changes, crew sourcing, recruitment and retention
Ensure the crewing functions are executed in compliance with the company SMS, systems, policies and procedure
Ensure timely submission of crewing expenses claims for approval.
To monitor recruitment needs in conjunction with CMA Ships Singapore.
To implement and update the 12-month planning for Top 5 and a global pool planning, as required.
To check medical status of all Seafarers and arrange medical appointments.
To manage Seafarers’ details in the system and keep the files correct and up-to-date.
To ensure that Seafarers hold all required / valid documents including a medical certificate prior their assignment.
To handle all Flag Documents’ Applications.
To assist CMA Ships Singapore with vessel planning requirements, as necessary.
To assist and support in all other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Agency.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of a diploma
Sufficient knowledge of mandatory STCW certifications, Seafarer’s Employment T&C, MLC 2006, CBA and Flag States’ requirements.
Proper command of English, both written and spoken

Experience / Personal Attributes

Preferably at least one to two years of relevant crewing or ship management experience

Good interpersonal skills

Strong customer focus

Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Good organizational skills and ablility to multi-task

High sense of compliance, meticulous, detailed and accurate.
