**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients and suppliers for iron ore trading, focusing on non-mainstream products and market outside China;
- Develop the iron ore trading vertical and driving trading performance. and analyze market trends to identify trading opportunities and risks.
- Negotiate and close trading deals while ensuring profitability and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and expand a strong network of iron ore industry contacts to ensure a reliable supply and customer base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align trading strategies with company goals.
- Increase the trading book's overall performance, trade, and market share to increase the Iron Ore desk's profitability. Keeping all trading exposures and hazards under agreed-upon boundaries.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the firm's capabilities and expertise.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end iron ore trading and are conversant with trading from an operational and risk standpoint.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skill.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. and due diligent and proactive to flag out key market changes as a team worker
- Demonstrate risk management and assessment skillsets to mitigate risk
- Good market contacts in the Europe, Korea, Japan and Middle-east region
- Proficiency in English; Additional languages are a plus
- Minimum a bachelor's degree in finance or business or related field
- Self-motivated, self-starter and yet a strong team player and familiar with collaborative and innovative ways of working
