We are presently sourcing an experienced Freelance Public Relations Consultant in Singapore to join us.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Public Relations Consultant with media contacts to join our team on a part-time/contract basis and support our PR efforts on a project-by-project basis. You will play a vital role in securing media placements, generating thought leadership opportunities, and managing our online presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Pitch compelling stories and secure editorial coverage in key media outlets (print, online, broadcast) in Singapore and globally.
- Leverage on existing media contacts and respective platforms to introduce initiatives and new partnership collaboration opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, publishing company, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases and other communication materials.
- Assist with the development and execution of thought leadership initiatives, such as speaking engagements and webinars.
- Monitor media coverage and analyse PR metrics to measure campaign effectiveness. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.

**Requirements**:

- Any educational background with 7 years experience in PR agencies, international/local media/communications, or publishing sector.
- Strong network with key media contacts and influencers.
- Demonstrably strong media relations skills with a proven track record of securing placements in relevant publications.
- Extensive network of contacts within the Singapore media and PR landscape, ideal with global connections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
