**Position: Senior Purchaser**

Basic: $3000 - $4000

Working Hour: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)

Transportation: Shuttle bus pick up at Sembawang MRT

Bonus: Depends on company and individual performance
- Issuing of PO to suppliers
- Ordering of raw material / packaging items that are running low
- Sourcing for new Raw material/packaging items
- Request documents from supplier
- Assist QA on any clarification on the document
- Keep track of Raw material expiry date to ensure within shelf life
- Create new codes for item
- Arranging of courier items to customers
- Arrange with forwarder on the incoming goods from overseas
- Assist marketing dept in packaging items
- Request shelf-life extension from supplier in the event if items are expiring
- Assist R&D dept in purchasing of equipments
- Co-ordinate with suppliers on import shipment
- Ordering of raw material for new projects
- Follow up with suppliers on documents required
- Follow up with payment for new PO purchase
- Co-ordinate with receiving on the goods that are expected to arrive
- Handle purchasing of materials and inventory control to ensure balance in supply and inventory log
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers for materials needed
- Track, coordinate, and follow up on order status and shipment with forwarders and suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers on delivery schedules and cost comparison
- Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in food industry, preferably in ingredient experience
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase of raw material and packaging material
- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive, and independent worker

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

- food industry: 3 years (required)
