**About Us**

TransAsia Private Capital Limited is a Hong Kong headquartered asset management firm best known for its private debt solutions spanning across trade and related value chain financing. The firm provides short tenor trade financing, mid tenor supply chain financing, and mid to longer tenor term and project loans, mainly focusing on trade in the Asian region.

**Role**

Perform Loan Operation / Middle Office functions which includes managing the day-to-day exposure, screening the trade transactions, and performing collateral assessment.

**Responsibilities**

Ensure requests are handled in a prompt and professional manner.

Maintain exposure and collaterals levels within the approved facility parameters. (And maintain logical sense per the usual market practices.)

Obtain and review all transactional documents per the facility agreement (e.g. purchase contracts, sales contracts, title documents etc.).

Raise exceptional approval requests when the parameter or underlying documents deviate from the approved credit conditions.

Act as a first line of defence, with respect to compliance / AML and sanction related issues.

Constant monitoring of the exposures, collaterals, and obtain transaction document throughout the transaction lifecycle, ensuring that condition subsequent and repayment are according to the schedule and in line with the facility conditions.

**Requirements**:

- Self-motivated, proactive and a good team player
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous; keen eye for details
- Strong conversational skills (English, Mandarin will be a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong in Excel preferred
- Beneficial knowledge to have:

- Structured Trade and Commodity Finance
- INCO terms, where risks and responsibilities reside
- Title/control risk. e.g. Financing against original Bills of Lading versus copies, the relevance of the consignee, shipper, and endorsee.
- Payment risk: Letter of Credit, Documents against Payment, Open Account payment terms.
