Singapore MHA - Singapore Prison Service (SPS) Full time

**What the role is**
- The jobholder ensures all digital media material produced is of professional quality and consistent with Singapore Prison Service (SPS)’s corporate branding, and that digital material essential to the department’s Heritage is properly preserved and archived for future reference. The jobholder will also be required to support SPS’s digital content production and produce videos/photos that support SPS’s communications effort.

**What you will be working on**
- The jobholder is one of the 2 officers in SPS’s Corporate Communications & Media Team (CCM). The jobholder reports directly to Assistant Director, Media Management. As the central repository of the department’s digital material, CCM is responsible for capturing digital media related material for key events, and serves as consultants for digital media related projects as and when necessary. CCM is also tasked with producing digital media content that will be shared on SPS’s public-facing platforms and to ensure that the necessary post-production work is completed after every event, and that the digital materials are stored safely for future use.
The jobholder is responsible for the upkeep and managing of SPS’s Central Repository for storage and sharing of photographs and videos taken at SPS events. Do note that there may be work required on some weekends. As the jobholder is responsible for the maintenance of the team’s media equipment, the officer would also need to have technical knowledge about equipment, apart from professional skills relating to digital photography/digital videography. The jobholder is also expected to participate in procurement exercises to acquire new equipment or courses to upskill the proficiencies of the team.
The jobholder works closely with a team of ground representatives to provide video or photo coverage of official functions, events and contingency exercises. This ensures that the ground representatives have sufficient technical knowledge and experience required for the job.

**What we are looking for**
- Good command of written and spoken English
Strong foundations in Photography and Videography
Competent in the handing of digital photo, video and sound equipment
Basic understanding in linear video editing platforms
Basic understanding in html website programming
Basic knowledge of editing software, which includes but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro.
