**Your new company**
A leading semi-conductor brand is looking for a Unix admin to join their ranks on an initial 1-year renewable and convertible contract

**Your new role**:

- Responsible for the operational support for Unix systems
- Day to day technical support and administration task for Unix servers system administrations.
- Provide L2 support, analysis and resolution planning for dated issues and seek appropriate solution for issues
- Resolve incident ticket and change request
- Initiate and follow-up on critical vendor technical support requirements
- Review, enhance, document and enforce global processes, procedures and best practices.
- Roll out, upgrade and retire Operating Systems according to Infineon software lifecycle.
- Support regional team (On-call support, response to urgent tasks etc)

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree Holder/Diploma in Computer Science
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Technical Knowledge/skills with the following is a plus
- Solaris 11, HP-UX, Linux Redhat servers administration experience
- Solaris 11, HP-UX, Linux Redhat performance tuning
- Solaris 11, HP-UX, Linux Redhat experience
- Unix Certification is a Plus
