**About the job**
It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while pursuing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Field Application Engineer with software skills to support our local customers and help in the development of our customers base. Responsibilities consist of technical support, pre-sales activities and training/support to our local distributors. You will be part of an engineering team in the APAC marketing and sales division, working closely with other FAEs and Application Engineers and you would be expected to travel regularly.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide technical support to local customers
- Identify and understand customers needs
- Support and train local distributors
- Communicate customer priorities to company

**Qualifications** and skills**
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems
- Experience in C programming/debugging
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc)
- Experience in working directly with customers
- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
- Experience with wireless procotols (Bluetooth, Wifi, cellular etc) a strong advantage
