**Role Summary:
The Winstedt School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator leader to serve as their next School Principal. The School Principal is responsible for setting a powerful vision for student achievement and motivating others to follow that vision. The role demands a deep passion for inclusive education, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive school environment.

Working closely with the CEO of the school, you will be responsible for leading the academic and pastoral teams fostering a supportive learning environment and ensuring the academic and emotional growth of all students. Your team includes the Heads of School for Early Years, Junior, Middle and Senior School, the Head of Curriculum and Head of Therapy and Pastoral Care, in addition to Specialists teachers such as Art, STEAM, Science, Library, Music and Drama. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of these students, ensuring they receive the support and education they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This role requires a hands-on team player who will work closely with the CEO and staff for the admission and retention of students, branding and positioning of the school, school wide-budgeting, and the recruitment and development of educators.

**Requirements:
The Successful Applicant for the School Principal role will possess the following attributes:

- A bachelor’s or master's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of relevant experience in education (UK core curriculum), preferably with a focus on inclusive education and neurodiversity.
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for twice exceptional students.
- Well-versed with the requirements of WASC, EduTrust, COBIS, Safeguarding and local laws and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse and multicultural environment; previous experience in a leadership role within a K-12 school setting in Asia/Singapore highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills, with good ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders. Possesses outstanding public speaking and written communication skills.
- A genuine commitment to promoting inclusive education and improving the lives of neurodivergent students and their families.
- Forward looking with the ability to adapt to evolving educational trends, research, and best practices in neurodiversity and inclusive education. Technology savvy with good ability to use data and regular assessment to make informed instructional decisions.
- Dedicated with unrelenting work ethics, highly adaptable and resilient.
- Highly self-driven and results-oriented while also a collaborative team player and empathetic leader who is open and communicative. Communicates vision and goals clearly and effectively, ensuring that all team members understand their role in achieving the vision.
- Adopts a situational leadership approach, recognizing that different situations may require different styles of leadership.
