Carousell is looking for an experienced Sales Leader to support our transactional business in our Autos Category. This is a full-time role based out of Singapore.
**You will**:
- Form a part of the pivotal team member of the sales management,
- Play the dual-role of a thinker and a leader.
- As a leader, lead a designated sales team, manage, motivate and heighten their sales achievements to the next level.
- As an experienced sales professional, you know how to coach your sales team on tactics and approaches, and handle their sales performance and targets leading to closures and with service excellence at different touch-points.
- As a thinker, you will partake in formulating appropriate pricing and product strategies, build up the customers' database, see opportunities for un-targeted segments and partner with the Marketing teams for promotions and campaigns.
- You will also manage stocks and ensure that the vehicles arrive at the showroom timely and ready for sales.
- You will assist the management and business development team in the design, formulation, planning and execution of our missions to create an exceptional automotive car buying experience for our customers
**Driving revenue growth and being exceptional in our value proposition**
- Lead and drive team members towards achieving their respective KPI's set and ensure optimal sales productivity and effectiveness without compromising our service standards.
- Build and lead a team of sales professionals with the vision to provide exceptional values and customer service experience in their pre-owned car purchasing journey.
**You have**:
- You possess a Degree in any discipline, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales and team management.
- Track record in any industry is highly advantageous.
- You are tenacious, inventive and highly adaptable to changing business environments, while being able to operate within guidelines and integrity.
- You are able to balance task-people situations and adopt a fair manner in handling conflicting situations.
- You enjoy staying up-to-date with industry insights and bringing ideas to reality.
- Armed with good social and communication skills, you connect easily with people of all walks of life, and thrive in a collaborative environment focusing on achieving results together.
- A self-motivated achiever with a drive for success in sales and abilities to lead a team to achieve their collective goals
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and highly digitized environment
- Results-oriented, flexible and able to wear multiple hats in a startup and multicultural environment
**Good to have**:
- Possess a Class 3 driving license is essential
- Prior experience in the Autos industry in areas of Autos Financing and Transactional Services will be highly considered
