The NTU School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. It has about 50 faculty members and more than 1,100 students and is rapidly expanding its range of education and research activities.
As Senior Executive at the Office of Associate Chair (Students) of the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) focuses on student care and student wellbeing. This role plays a vital function in supporting the holistic wellbeing and development experience of CEE students.
The key responsibilities encompass the following:
- Collaborate closely with university partners to align care and support for CEE students.- Periodic monitoring and meeting with students who face wellbeing problems, academic, or personal challenges.- Manage leave of absence, and other well-being related processes.- Liaise with administrators in CEE Undergraduate Office to advise students who face academic challenges on their fulfilment of credit requirements.- Take charge of administrative matters that support the student leadership and mentorship for undergraduate students.- Update and maintain student support databases and prepare periodic reports for management review.- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in compliance with university and ethical guidelines.
Requirements- Minimally a bachelor’s degree from a recognised University- Prior experience in student care or student support role in an institution of higher learning will be advantageous.- Preferably with knowledge and/or experience in counselling or interaction with young adults.- A strong commitment and passion towards student wellbeing and support.- Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
