Singapore Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Full time

**What the role is**

Lead Engineer / Principal Engineer, Cyber Tech Stack (CTS) is responsible to assist Deputy Director, CTS in the planning and delivery of joint capabilities projects, specifically in the technology area of Enterprise Cyber Security systems/ solutions. He/ She is also required to work and support across different units within HTX.

**What you will be working on**

The job-holder will be responsible for the following:

- Assist in the deliver and implementation of the controls in the Home Team Cybersecurity masterplan.
- Ensure timely delivery of joint capabilities projects, especially in the areas of Enterprise Cyber Security systems/ solutions.
- implement projects based on approved project plans that meet all identified operational needs, project risks, budget, schedule and quality.
- Have full oversight of the projects’ status and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Lead discussions with all relevant parties including external government agencies, industry partners, Home Team Departments (HTDs) to ensure successful delivery of projects and capabilities.
- Work with external agencies and/ or HTDs in terms of collaboration or building system of systems at a larger Whole-of-Government (WOG) level, with the interest of HTX and MHA in mind.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by HTX Senior Management or Director, JCPMC.

**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Cyber Security/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or relevant disciplines.
- At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience in Cyber Security.
- Strong interest in technologies and innovation, particularly in Cyber Security.
- Strong planning and project management skills. PMP, CISSP, CSSP, CISA or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Facilitation skills, planning skills, problem-solving skills, organising capabilities and foresight to drive projects.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills for internal/external stakeholders engagement.
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
