**General Overview**

SLNG is currently recruiting for a senior / lead Control and Instrumentation engineer with extensive PreFEED/FEED/EPC engineering background in oil and gas & LNG projects to join the team in Technical and Project Development Group.

Reporting to the Engineering Managers, the senior / lead C&I engineer is responsible for Control and Instrumentation discipline engineering in SLNG CAPEX projects for all the phases of project development. The main responsibility includes preparation of project scope of work, datasheets, requirement, calculations, analysis, specifications, site surveys, review & evaluation of consultant/contractor/vendor proposal, review & approval of engineering deliverables, field support to construction, commissioning and operation, validation of engineering database and coordination with project management team, other discipline engineering, and operation teams as the discipline focal in SLNG project team.

**Roles and Reponsiblities**

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

- Become a focal for Control and Instrumentation discipline of SLNG Terminal 1, project management team for CAPEX Projects and supervise FEED consultants/EPC contractors/ Equipment Vendors
- Prepare & issue C&I basis of Design, Project Specification, Data Sheets and Scope of Work for Feasibility Studies (FS), FEED and EPC projects
- Review Engineering Consultants’/EPC Contractor/Equipment Vendor proposals and ensure their proposals are in line with SLNG operation & control philosophy
- Support HAZOP, SIL & SPF studies
- Review, Validate and approve Control and Instrumentation discipline and associated deliverables in SLNG CAPEX projects and develop such documents where required to support the project delivery internally or by consultant.
- Coordinate with project management team, other discipline engineering, and operation teams
- Witness a factory performance test (FAT)
- Validate Engineering Database such as Smart Plant tools (SP3D, SPE etc) and ensure the accuracy of the database,
- Review As-built deliverables and ensure all SLNG approved as-built deliverables are uploaded in SLNG document management system,
- Ensure to adherence of Quality Management System, establish and follow SLNG QA plans.
- Ensure that scope of work is delivered by Consultants & EPC contractors in line with SOW/Deliverables referred in respective contract.

**Work Experiences**
- 10 to 15 years C&I engineering experience in LNG or Oil & Gas / Petrochemical or Power plants
- Minimum 5 yrs of C&I engineering experience as a Senior C&I engineer and above for any major Project during development and EPC stage..
- Engineering Experience in both Green Field & Brown Field Projects
- Hands-on Engineering Experience of Control and Instrumentation engineering and Vendor Coordination in FEED/EPC projects,
- Hands-on Experience on PLCs & DCS
- Familiar with both international and Local Codes & Standards
- Knowledge of SP tools and SP3D and SPE is essential
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Team player, resilient and self-motivated
- Pro-active, able to communicate direct, open and flexible
- Hands-on exposure to Field Engineering, Equipment Installation, Construction or Commissioning is value added
- LNG or LNG terminal or NG gas skids hands-on experience is value added,
- Singapore oil and gas project hands-on experience is value added, and
- Experience of Owner’s Engineering team is value added.

**Education Requirements**
- Masters or Degree in Bachelor of Engineering in Instrument and Control Engineering

**Performance Criteria**
- Technically sound in Control and Instrumentation discipline engineering
- Effective field engineering support for construction, commissioning and startup of LNG terminal
- Project (Control and Instrumentation discipline engineering) delivery on spec, on time and within budget
