As Director of Competition Policy, APAC, you will work closely with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, businesses, civil society, and academics across the Asia Pacific region to build understanding and support for Meta’s positions on competition policy issues. Drawing on your skills bringing teams and people together in an inclusive and thoughtful way, you will work closely with internal teams
- including policy, legal, comms, and product

**Director of Competition Policy, Asia Pacific Responsibilities**:

- Represent Meta in meetings and discussions with key stakeholders on all competition policy related topics
- Plan and lead cross-functional efforts in partnership with internal teams on strategy for building relationships with policymakers and civil society for competition policy initiatives
- Articulate our policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses, and internal policy meetings
Advise internal teams on public policy matters to guide development of products, services, choice and competition related investments, technologies and policies
- Work with political bodies, policymakers, and NGOs on technology and competition policy issues, driving key strategic outcomes
- Collaborate and ensure consistency in approach to competition policy issues across the region**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of experience in public policy with knowledge of competition policy matters and the related technology business and policy ecosystem
- Experience working with political systems and institutions across the Asia Pacific region as well as policy, politics, or communications
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with a strong focus on collaboration
- Ability to build strong relationships at the executive level across the business both internally and externally
- Strong and inclusive people management capabilities and stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Law or other advanced degree
- Experience in public policy in the technology, media, or telecommunications market
Interest in technology and related policy issues
