Infra Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of server and network equipment.
- Perform hardening of server and network equipment.
- Provide infrastructure technical support to customers and the project teams.
- Proactively ensure that system, network and infrastructure meets agreed SLA.
- Prepare incident reports for infrastructure related outages
- Provide support to clients to resolve equipment issues reported within service level agreements
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. equipment providers and software developers)
- Supervise 3rd party providers in maintenance support
- Track equipment issues through to resolution
- Carry out root cause analysis to improve performance
- Ensure all issues are properly logged and updated (issue logs and vendor records)
- Expected to be able to prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including basic PC and peripherals setup
- Research and identify solutions to equipment (software and hardware) issues
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering or related studies
- At least 5 years of related working experience to deliver services to customers
- Good technical knowledge on server and network technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.
- Effective presentation and report writing skills
- Good people management skills
- Certification in ITIL and CCNP are preferred
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
- Conversant with system administration across different technology stack (windows, rhel/solaris)
- Familiar with enterprise architecture (3 tier architecture),
- Familiar with operational processes
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must have Skill: Microsoft Windows, Vmware, Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft SCCM is preferred
