JR38937 Senior Manager, Global Stakeholder Engagement

The **Senior Manager, Global Stakeholder Engagement **will be responsible for providing strategic government relations counsel, particularly focused on U.S. foreign relations, as well as commercial policies, help develop internal and external narratives, and engage key partners on issues of cross global significance. Reporting to the Head, Global Stakeholder Engagement, you will deliver constructive, coordinated input for engagement with U.S. and foreign government partners, including U.S. Embassies, third party groups, global dialogues, NGOs and partner organizations on existing and new initiatives related to international markets where the company operates or has a strategic interest. You will identify partnership opportunities and develop alliances with U.S. organizations representing global dialogues or issues, government bodies engaging bilaterally, third party groups and institutions. You will seek to prominently position the company with political, regulatory, policy decision-makers and third-party influencers on related topics or conversations to ensure maximum strategic value for the company.

**The Impact**:
As Senior Manager, Global Stakeholder Engagement, based in the Indo-Pacific region, you will have a global remit and may be encouraged to travel extensively, including to U.S. locations. You will be a collaborative strategic thinker who will coordinate innovative ideas for the company to position itself for maximum visibility against the company’s advocacy strategy. You will be expected to help craft policy issues, working with the Policy and Research team, and lead engagements with partners, policymakers and influencers inside and outside of government. The Global Stakeholder Engagement team is comprised of authorities in governments' perspectives and processes in the international sphere, as well as bilateral and multilateral dialogues and frameworks, and works hand-in-glove with other team members who are based in local markets in the Indo-Pacific region as well as in Europe.

You will provide advice on international affairs to senior leadership and develop global government affairs-related messaging on geopolitical matters. In addition, you will work with and advise internal teams on the public policy implications of their products and services and partner with cross-functional global teams to help craft the policy landscape around pressing issues.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Navigate sophisticated political and policy issues and distill key messages for a diverse variety of audiences.
- Effectively build relationships and interact with associates at all levels within the organization and with key constituents outside the company.
- Proactively present concise and business-relevant intelligence on pertinent regulatory and governmental issues.
- Monitor, interpret, and influence the political, regulatory, and economic environment that may impact Micron's businesses.
- Write and present concise briefs for senior management.
- Drive development, positioning and execution of Micron senior management outreach and key stakeholder engagement to relevant policymakers, ensuring external relations are anticipatory, on-going, and aligned.
- Ensure awareness of key constituencies, including governmental and non-governmental Organizations and opinion leaders who may have a positive or negative impact on the business.
- Oversee external consultants and industry associations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and functional colleagues.

- Supporting the GPA team and the company with global policy analysis & program management
- Planning external engagement strategies with governments, key partners and opportunities, global dialogues and influencers in both U.S. and overseas markets
- Creating and implementing international programs and strategic campaigns
- Analyzing newly released policies affecting global dialogues
- Conducting extensive research on key markets
- Minimum of 7 years work experience in the U.S. government executive branch or within a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding and experience in public policy, with know-how and experience in international business, manufacturing, commercial diplomacy, national security or related field.
- Excellent writing and analysis; strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
