**Roles & Responsibilities**: Assist and support Principal Investigators(PI) in their clinical research activities (starting from study start-up till study end including study closure activities) such as: Recruit patients in the clinic and assist in screening, recruitment and consent taking of participants; Manage research data, data entry, data cleaning and ethics/legal compliance; Liaise with relevant internal and external agencies during the course of work; Monitor the financial aspects of the assigned study and advise the PI and Dept Admin team; Ensure timely submission of progress report to the relevant agencies and authorities and renewal of IRB and CTC approvals; Perform literature review and assist in writing research papers for publication and conference presentation Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.Requirements for RA: Relevant Degree or Diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing or equivalent; Working experience in academic or clinical research would be advantageous; Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook; Knowledge in research ethics and preferably completed the CITI; Good written and oral communication skills; Team-oriented with strong coordination and organisational skills; Able to work independently and comfortable to multi-task / handle a few projects concurrently.
