A leading multinational mining group is looking for a contract Manager, Business Process Reengineering (Maternity Cover).
Your new role
- Understand the end and to end processes (Commercial Services & Digital (CS&D) and beyond) and owns the current processes, process maps and SOPs in CS&D which includes contract, order admin, shipping document, invoicing, trade finance, derivative ops, and master data management.
- Identify opportunities for improvements (assess and prioritize opportunities), work collaboratively within CS&D and across the Commercial business and have a holistic view in terms of process, technology, data, controls, governance, policy. Possess sufficient understanding of business objectives, technology, data. Assess and prioritize opportunities through feedback from (e.g., Service Delivery Management team) and build business cases to improve the process which can be agreed upon and prioritized in a roadmap with the stakeholders
- Own risk control process and management -evaluate existing operational risk policies and processes, develop risk management controls and systems, design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks and propose recommendations
- Support the implementation to ensure stakeholder needs are met, business benefits are realized and ensure initiatives are coordinated by working across processes, business as well as tech team in designing the future processes
- Drive stakeholder engagement -working closely with Commercial Business and respective CS Process Owners (ensure it is designed in the right way), and work closely with Change Lead to communicate changes
What you'll need to succeed
- 9-10 years of relevant experience
- Experienced and understand processes | Improving processes
- Great at stakeholder management and good problem-solving skills
