We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Human Resource (HR) & Administration Manager to join ESC and lead HR transformation initiatives across the ESC Group. In this role, you will oversee the HR and administrative functions across the organisation, ensuring both departments operate smoothly.
As HR & Administration Manager, you will oversee a team handling the full range of HR and administrative functions—aligning employee needs with organisational goals while ensuring smooth operations in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and office management.

**Responsibilities**:
**Human Resources**:
1. **Recruitment & Onboarding**:
- Develop onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organisation.
- **Employee Relations**:
- Support managers and act as a primary point of contact for employee enquiries and resolve workplace issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- **Performance Management**:
- Oversee performance appraisal processes, setting goals, and providing regular feedback to employees.
- Assist managers in addressing performance issues and implementing development plans.
- **Training and Development**:
- Support management to identify opportunities for employees to grow and develop their skills and career paths.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **Compensation and Benefits**:
- Support Accounts department in payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices in alignment with the company’s budget and market standards.
- **Compliance and Policy Management**:
- Stay up-to-date with labour laws and HR best practices to ensure company compliance.
- Help create and enforce policies that support a positive and compliant work environment.
**Administration**:
- **Office Management**:
- Oversee country office administrators for day-to-day office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensure that the workplace environment is conducive to productivity and safety.
- **Vendor and Contract Management**:
- Support management of and relationships with external service providers and suppliers.
- Support to negotiate contracts and monitor service levels to ensure value for money.
- **Document Management**:
- Ensure that all employee records and administrative documents are accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
- Implement systems to streamline document storage and retrieval.
- Support and manage the external IT vendor/s and coordinate staff and management as necessary
- **ISO Systems Compliance**
- Support the ISO team to ensure compliance with our ISO 45000 health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Support the organisation of safety training and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to protect employees.
- **Budget and Cost Control**:
- Manage the HR and administration budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and within the allocated amount.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and administrative management.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and administrative functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HR software, MS Office, and administrative tools.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Certification in Human Resources is a plus.

**Work Environment**:
- Full-time position based in the Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia office.
- Occasional travel may be required.
