Global Markets Operations Project Lead

**Your background**
- Relevant project management experience; demonstrated through successful delivery of Operations related projects in Financial Services / Markets
- Knowledge of Global Markets businesses and products (FICC, Equities)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify complex information into messages targeted to various levels of stakeholders

**Nice to have**:

- Prior Transaction Reporting BAU (Ops, IT Dev, MAPS) or project experience
- Knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques (ideally with understanding of Bank of America Enterprise Change Standards, Policy and Tools)
- Formal PM qualification e.g. PRINCE2, PMP
- Demonstrate negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work well in collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Able to deliver results with limited direction and supervision
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Possess time management skills and able to manage multiple competing/concurrent activities
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
- Demonstrate willingness to learn about a new line of business or function

**What you can expect**

The Project Manager is responsible for managing deliverables arising through regulatory change projects that impact APAC GMO.

The project manager works with GMO leaders and SMEs on all relevant change phases, including initiation/mobilization, impact assessment, requirements, (process) design, user testing and implementation (where applicable)

Some of the initiatives may involve cross-LOBs engagement with a wide set of stakeholders such as Sales, Trading, COOs, Banking, Legal, Compliance, and Technology

Depending on the specific demands, the project manager either leads an entire project/remediation, or supports one or multiple work streams / functions as part of a bigger initiative. It is likely that the project manager will work on several projects concurrently.

**What you will do**
- Define and agree project deliverables; manage their end to end delivery
- Manage project plan / activities relating to project deliverables
- Establish control framework and run governance routines
- Liaise and coordinate with other LOBs representatives to drive progress and achieve intended outcomes
- Report on project status, progress, upcoming activities, risks/dependencies to relevant stakeholders on periodic basis
- Escalate issues in line with agreed procedures

**Particular focus**:

- Deliver Transaction Reporting driven changes impacting APAC GMO
- Provide governance on local Transaction Reporting changes including legacy issues remediation
- Delivery HKEX / Hong Kong related BAU clearing initiatives
- Act as GMO contact for APAC COO Reg Reform team to help assess impact from upcoming
- Keep APAC GMO senior management and global line management informed periodically on any change work
