**What the role is**
- Land is a strategic resource for Singapore that enables our economic growth and thereby helps to create good jobs. You will be part of a team that works with multiple stakeholders across Government to formulate Singapore’s industrial land and space policies.
**What you will be working on**
- Key areas of responsibility include: - Ensuring that there is sufficient industrial land and space to meet our mid
- to long-term economic needs, such as through the creation and safeguarding of land/space. - Ensuring our industrial landscape and policies are able to support new growth areas and help companies strengthen their competitiveness. For example, working with MTI statutory boards to ensure that our land allocation policies continue to anchor companies that provide good jobs. The team also works closely with JTC Corporation on the latter’s innovative facilities and next-generation mixed-use districts to help companies to address new manufacturing trends and enhance productivity. - Ensuring that our industrial property market is stable, sustainable and competitive. This involves working with JTC to monitor the market, release sufficient industrial land and set the prices and rentals for JTC’s land and space. - Overseeing the corporate issues of JTC and its subsidiaries.
**What we are looking for**
- You should have: - Strong analytical skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written form) - A background in Building and Infrastructure or Engineering would be advantageous
