**Broad Function**
We are seeking a highly motivated and competent Sr. Executive/Executive who shares our mission of ‘Everything We do is about Caring for and Improving the Lives of Our Patients, Community and Healthcare Family’.
The Senior/Executive will have a broad responsibility in supporting the Value & Safety Office to plan, develop and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Improvement (QI) initiatives. He or she will perform in accordance to departmental work plan, goals and budgets in order to enhance organisation excellence and improve patient care.
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
**_Specific - Quality Assurance (75%)_**
- Work with various departments to implement relevant healthcare standards such as MOH - Healthcare Services Regulations (HCSA) and Joint Commission International (JCI) Standards.
- Manage internal quality audit program from audit planning to implementation and reporting to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in internal audits to ensure compliance with defined policies, procedures and standards requirements.
- Perform documentations and standard operating procedures review to ensure it is up-to-date and fulfill the relevant requirements.
- Work closely with NHG Institute of Healthcare Quality (IHQ) or external providers (JCI / ISO) to train and build a pool of qualified auditors within the organisation.
**_Specific - Quality Improvement (20%)_**
- Work with various professional groups to operationalise the organisational wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in multidisciplinary improvement projects team in project scoping, data analysis, process mapping, goal setting and formulate innovative solutions.
- Support faculty members or external partner to co-create training materials as well as organise improvement methodology, tools and techniques workshop.
- Organise quality related activities such as quality convention, quality day and etc. to celebrate improvement effort within the organisation.
**_General (5%)_**
- Work closely with various functions within department to deliver our annual work plan.
- Execute special tasks and events assigned by Head of Department (HOD) and/or supervisors.
**Job Requirements**
- University Degree in Science, Industrial System Engineering, Nursing, Sciences and etc. (Second Upper Honours and above is preferred).
- At least 3 years of related experience for Executive position
- At least 5-6 years of related experience for Senior Executive position
- Knowledge in MOH Healthcare Services Regulations (HCSA) and International Standards (JCI) is preferred.
- Sound knowledge in structured improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma with experience in leading or facilitating projects.
- Experience in healthcare or quality audit such as ISO9001 would be an added advantage
- Good command of the English language (spoken and written) and presentation skills.
