Our client is a Japanese chemicals distribution and manufacturing company. They are looking for the Accountant/Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager to assist Accounts Senior Manager in the running of finance, accounting, Costing and tax-related tasks of the company. Directly reports to the Senior Accounts Manager based in Singapore, with a dotted line of reporting to the General Manager of HR and Accounts.
【What will you be working on】
- Establish operational rules and procedures for finance and accounting, and follow and ensure that proper implementation of corporate governance policies and process improvements etc.
- Oversee & process employees’ claim reimbursements and hands-on support to the various departments for local approval & payment process via SAP system
- Handle daily accounting operation using SAP and manage periodic payments via E-Banking
- Manage month-end closing and submit monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements to Head Office via DIVA system
- Assist to prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts with Budget vs Actual analysis
- Manage daily cash-flow & communicate with banks and financial institutions for interest rates, forex transactions.
- Liaise with HQ Global Finance team in Japan on Global Finance request
- Associate with external service providers for preparing and filing tax return; Withholding tax, Goods & Services Tax & Corporate tax return
- Provide professional advice and assistance to support the company's business in terms of accounting, finance, and taxation, including credit control
- Work closely with finance management of Head Office in Japan as well as local office in Singapore
- Address accounting audit and tax audit as necessary
- Drafting of statutory financial statements in compliance with FRS/IFRS reporting standard
- Ad hoc job as required
- ** Requirement**:

- 【What they're looking for】
- Bachelor of Finance & Accounting or relevant field
- At least 7 years experience in finance, accounting, and tax role in industrial companies or 4 years' experience in an audit firm
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) holder is a plus
- Experience with multi-national companies and the manufacturing industry
- Business establishment experience or finance department setting experience
- ** Working Hour**: 8:30 ~ 17:15
