Staff Nurse

As a staff nurse, you are required to lead a team of Nursing Aides to provide general nursing care to residents residing in the Home. Your job requirements are:
1. To lead in the daily operations and smooth functioning of the Nursing Dept.
2. To work independently and provide directions and supervision to the NAs in carrying out their duties in providing nursing care to residents.
3. To spearhead the casualty management of residents during an emergency situation.
4. To organise and schedule residents for clinical sessions and support the locum doctor during consultations.
5. To coordinate with hospitals / Polyclinics for medical appointments and review for residents.
6. To pack residents' medication with 100% correctness.
7. To supervise the daily medication regime to ensure its proper dispensing of medication to residents.
8. To be present during residents' mealtimes to look out for vulnerable residents.
9. To monitor the health conditions of residents and ensure the proper conduct of checks and documentation of residents.
10. To prepare reports and updates on nursing matters at the Monthly Staff Meeting.
11. To act as note-takers for monthly Meetings chaird by the Superintendent.
12. To perform any other duties as directed by the Head Nursing Dept and the Home Management.
