**Project** Description**:
Working with one of the biggest Asian Bank to provide resources to their Calypso program. This engagement is to support the client with their projects via resources, specialized support and handling projects for them
They need Calypso Developers to be part of a larger team comprising other developers and a testing team.
You will be working closely with the internal back office and other teams to develop all the requisite functionalities in-house.
Special focus on - FI, Equity, Money-Market, OPL, Corporate Actions, Interfaces

**Responsibilities**:

- Interact and liaise with teams across various geographic locations
- Interact with Business and Operations users and resolve their queries
- Initially work with the Production support team to understand the project landscape
- Interact with their TechOps team who manages L1 support and day to day environment and user queries
- To learn quickly on the job around the custom flows and start working on the solutions with the team

**Skills**:
Must have
- 5+ years of experience on Calypso as a developer
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development, Java 1.7 and higher
- Good understanding of key concepts in Java like OOPS concept, Collections, Multi-threading, etc.
- Strong drive for Continuous learning and improvement
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a geographically dispersed team
- Ability to write SQL queries and understand Calypso database tables
- Basic understanding of UNIX servers and commands
- Understanding of back office processes like SWIFT messages, Settlements, CREs, Accounting, etc.
- Understanding of FX and MM products
- Good understanding of Overall Calypso Architecture
- Hands-on Calypso development and customizations, like Scheduled Tasks, Reports, Engines
- Good analytical skills, should be able to analyze and resolve production issues
- Good understanding of Calypso's message and sender frameworks

Nice to have

Devops - Experience with tools like Maven, Azure DevOps, or other CI tools
CATT - Calypso Automation Tool

Refinitiv
