Job SummaryAt Suntory Beverage and Food, we boldly move forward together to realise the dreams of becoming a world leading next-generation global beverage company - you are an important part of this and here’s how your role helps us win.This role is responsible for developing, communicating and driving overall implementation of Procurement vision, objectives and strategy for Global Packaging Materials for Suntory Beverage and Food International. Specifically, to drive Packaging Materials Category transformation of Suntory procurement into a value-added business partner at Global and Regional level.Job Responsibilities- Develop mission, strategy and goals for Global Packaging Materials for SBFI. Create strategic category roadmap to drive procurement excellence and Value Delivery for each business and region including metrics definition and milestone setting. Define & develop Procurement Strategies for Global Packaging Materials and ensure stakeholders buy-out & full engagement.
- Develop performance, capabilities and competencies of procurement team to contribute to business growth strategies.
- Drive team engagement. Drive management routines to monitor outcomes as per goals. Propose & drive corrective actions to keep metrics that matter on track.
- Ensure business growth, in alignment with SBFI and Market strategies.
- Lead cost reduction & value in initiatives in line with SBFI and Market’s strategies & business needs
- Ensure communication & alignment of goals as ‘One Song Sheet’
- Deliver financial targets, based on TCO analysis & cost optimization/value in.
- Propose budget price and its impact and regular follow up on price variances.
- Participate to the Make or Buy decision process.
- Drive innovation to support business growth and lead Industrial and Capex Category Procurement.
- Monitor and maintain supplier relationships, vendor contracts and performance.
- Ensure SRM is managed with internal stakeholders and internal clients.
- Utilize Suntory network for both Procurement (SBFI Markets and GPLT) & technical capabilities (Suntory Monozukuri Expert) to enhance SBFI efficiency.
Main Complexity/Critical issues- Build a network with key stakeholders and drive procurement results for SBFI in collaboration with SBFI Procurement GLT and Category managers, aligning with market strategy for growth.
- Develop and implement global packaging materials strategies to deliver business growth, quality, supply excellence, cost efficiency, and supplier-enabled innovation.
- Monitor supplier relationship management and develop sustainable relationships with strategic partners.

- Experience with e-procurement and SAP systems.
- CIPS certification is a plus.
