Aim to work with the best and innovative technologies in Singapore and around the region, Yijiahe (Singapore) is recruiting talented people to grow the engineering team to bring forward solutions for a better patient outcomes to the world.

As a senior member of the medical product design and development team, you will work directly with Principal Engineer, cross functional project team members to deliver technical solutions for the product. You will play a critical role in designing robotic medical systems integrating diagnostic, interventional and machine learning platform with functions such as imaging processing, visualization, needle navigation and robotics precision control.

Competency Requirements (Education, Experience, Training, Skill)_**
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with more than 5 years’ experience in design and development of electro-mechanical or robotic system
- Strong technical capability to **develop, optimize designs for mechanical structure and electro-mechanical assemblies**:

- Good knowledge in various** materials (metal and plastic) and manufacturing processes for product design**:

- Experience in medical device/instrument is an advantage
- An analytical problem solver to identify root cause, devise/evaluate/recommend optimal solutions to prevent future issues
- Natural ability to communicate technical information, and build interpersonal relation with the team members
- Able to work independently, self-motivated and organized with good teamwork skill

**_Responsibilities_**
- Work with cross functional team on detailed electro-mechanical design at product level, sub-systems, modules and components level
- Support and review critical technical development related to electro-mechanical
- Support feasibility study on conceptual design for new products
- Resolve issues and improve product assembly with jigs/fixtures
- Ensure the product design and functionalities meet user needs, able to fulfil cost target and quality specifications
- Perform analytical studies, risk assessment, mechanical verification and validation on the product
- Oversee and co-ordinate design and production activities locally or with overseas partners
- Ensure proper documentation (design history file) and communication with internal and external suppliers, in compliance with quality management system and regulatory standards requirements
