Singapore HPB Health Promotion Board Full time

The mission of the Youth Preventive Service Group (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is to promote good health through early detection and intervention to reduce ill health among school children. The services provided by the Group include health and dental screening, immunisation, and lifestyle intervention programmes for children and youth (CY) in Singapore.

As part of the YPS Planning department, the job holder will assist the Head of Department in the strategic planning, monitoring and review of strategic corporate matters in YPS, including helming strategic collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to advance priorities in preventive health for CY.

**What You Can expect**

You will drive the annual YPS work planning process and monitor the performance of the divisions within the YPS Group, including the development of a roadmap to guide the work of YPS divisions in key priority areas. To align and integrate efforts of child-centric school preventive health at the regional and national level, you will establish engagement with other divisions in HPB, MOH and MOE to review priority health concerns and align strategies for programme offerings.

You will also provide regular updates on evolving health priorities to the YPS management teams and keep up to date on CY lifestyle and health trends through media and literature reviews, to provide insights on emerging evidence on effective lifestyle interventions for CY.
