Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened. Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons. Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide. In a bid to stay relevant to the needs of the community, Care Corner has continuously strived to offer new and innovative programmes to support those in need and the less privileged.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Providing secretariat support to the Board and Board Committees including scheduling & preparation of meetings, preparation of resolutions, board evaluation & renewal process and reporting, statutory reporting, governance evaluation & disclosure, annual declaration and board retreat.
2. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements and providing corporate governance advisory to Centre administrators.
3. Assisting in developing and updating corporate governance policies such as board governance, risk management and personal data protection.
4. Assisting in the regular review of governance processes including recommending and implementing changes, documenting new processes and procedures to support compliance, continuous improvement and best practice in governance.
5. Administering and maintaining CorpPass access rights, Corporate Secretariat system and central depository for Funding and Tenancy agreements.
6. Providing business support to Centres where necessary.
7. Collating and preparing annual budget, verifying financial transactions and supporting finance matters.
8. Assisting in performance reporting to board, management and other stakeholders.
9. Coverage of counter and Quality Service Management responsibilities
10. Any other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Has experience in related fields such as corporate secretariat or corporate governance function, personal data protection matters, policy review and office management
- Possesses relevant experience in handling corporate secretariat/governance, PDPA matters
- Some general knowledge of Code of Governance for Charities/IPC and PDPA
- Proficient in Microsoft office and MS Teams
- Ability to operate simple AV/IT equipment
- Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Meticulous, able to work independently and service-oriented
**Qualifications**:
Degree/Diploma holder with 3-5 years of working experience.
