- Our client is an established venture capital firm with multi-billion asset under management. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Director, Investor Relations and the role is based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with existing Japanese investors including institutional and corporate investors such as endowment funds, sovereign funds, asset managers, corporations, family offices etc
- Work with other teams to provide investment updates to them and answer their enquries
- Research and identify potential Japanese investors, attend industry seminars and events etc
- Keep track of investor community and industry trend
- Assist in fundraising and preparing marketing materials to Japanese investors
- Assist in conducting due diligence on potential Japanese investors
- Provide update on Japan investor market and strategy to the senior management
Key requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Relationship Management, Client Servicing, Fundraising in financial services / asset management / Investment Consultancy industry
- Business level Japanese language proficiency as the position will need to liaise with Japanese investors
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or other disciplines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding in Financial and Investment industry
- Relationship-centric, good client servicing skills, analytical and meticulous
