**The Company**: Our client is a leading international multibillion-dollar investment company. They are currently seeking an energetic and resourceful legal counsel to join their existing team in Singapore. **The Role**: This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the APAC head of legal counsel. As a key member of the legal team, you will provide strategic legal advice to the business, ensure compliance, and contribute to the success of the company in an effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing legal support for the company's project development, M&A, and project financing in the APAC region - Assisting with the drafting, negotiation, amendment, and tracking of a range of project-based and commercial documents - Actively involving in the legal and commercial analysis of acquisition and due diligence documentation - Providing contract management support to enforce contract rights and ensure compliance with contractual obligations - Supporting the business in following the correct legal, compliance, and governance procedures for effective contracting, procurement, and negotiation - Assisting with the senior management of ongoing project development activities with local partners and service providers - Effectively working with external counsel when necessary and appropriate The People: - Qualified legal practitioner with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) - Training and experience working in an internationally recognized law firm, and currently working either as an in-house counsel at a recognized energy/infrastructure company, or, an associate specializing in energy project development "Data provided is for recruitment purposes only."
